Grand Chelem Baseball Day Camp – Weather Policy
Weather Conditions and Camp Operations
Grand Chelem strives to provide a quality experience for every participant while ensuring their safety and comfort under all circumstances. The following is our policy in the event of unfavorable weather conditions:
Light Rain
(70% or less chance of precipitation)
A covered chalet is available on-site and accessible starting at 9:00 a.m.
If light rain is forecast, the camp will proceed as scheduled. However, we ask parents to drop off their child at 9:30 a.m. rather than 8:00 a.m. to ensure a smooth and safe transition to the indoor facilities.
Heavy Rain
(80% or greater chance of precipitation)
The camp will proceed as scheduled. Activities will take place primarily inside the chalet under the supervision of our team.
As soon as weather conditions permit, participants will resume physical activities outdoors, such as:
Basketball
Soccer
Physical conditioning
Mini baseball games
In this situation, parents will also have the option to cancel the day and reschedule it for a later week among those still available on the calendar.
Special Circumstances
If the options mentioned above do not meet a participant's needs, each situation will be assessed individually by our team in order to find an appropriate solution.
